We have decided that we will not be hosting the cookouts on either Saturday or Sunday May 24/25. Jeff has made the decision that

Another 9 & Under Dual Meet is scheduled for Friday, June 13th with Zeus at Norwalk High School. This meet will be short course and all times will count for Age Groups and Regionals. All 9/U's will be entered unless they scratch from this meet on SuperMeets. |

New scratch meet sign-up procedure for SuperMeets - The coaches will automatically enter all swimmers
in a meet unless they have scratched from the meet by signing up on SuperMeets by the lock date.
You will only sign-up/scratch from a meet on SuperMeets if you are
NOT ATTENDING the meet. Or if you wish to NOT ATTEND
one day of the meet, sign-up with these instructions for the coach. This new scratch procedure is in effect for all meets listed except the 6/14-6/15 CAMEL meet already listed with Senior 1 & 2 sign-ups entered. Remember, to review the lock date because if you do not sign-up to scratch by this date to NOT ATTEND a meet, you will automatically be signed up for the meet and charged the USS fees. Hello Wahoos, I am sorry to say that we did not get into the Memorial Day
Meet at Rutgers. With it being an Olympic year, the meet was over
subscribed. New Jersey had two entry deadlines, one for instate teams and
one for out of state teams. Almost all of the meet was filled with New
Jersey Teams. Our hope is that we will be able to attend next year. With
that being said, we will be hosting two half day meets on Saturday and
Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend. The 13/Overs will be on Saturday and the
12/Unders will be on Sunday. Saturday will be done no later than 1PM. and
Sunday no later then Noon. We will also be hosting a cook out for the teams
attending right after each session. Anyone with questions please contact Jeff. Meet Sign-Up is now available on SuperMeets for LC Age Group Qualifer - 6/14-6/15 for Senior 1 & 2 Please sign-up promptly. Sign-Up deadline is next Monday, April 28. Please take note: They will be working at the YMCA entrance this week 4/21 - 4/25 on Rt 7. There will be a police officer stationed there to direct and restrict the traffic flow. |

All Championship Meet announcements and meet sign-up sheets are posted in
the lobby. Due to qualifying time standards, we are in the process of
getting the sign ups for all these meets (Regionals, Age Groups and CT Seniors)
on the website. Senior Coach Todd will be selecting events with each swimmer
for these meets on a one on one basis during practice over the next couple of weeks.
Please take the time to sign-up as soon as possible. REMEMBER these are our CHAMPIONSHIP meets and the final opportunities for many to compete this short course season. Tyr Capital Classic Meet The Wahoo National Team is attending this meet
Dec. 14 - Dec. 16. The host team will have all of the evening final races posted on the web after
the meet so everyone can watch them over
and over. To watch them, you need to register for a FREE membership at

Floswimming is a great website that hosts videos of coaches and athletes
from all around the world. It is a great place to meet people (coaches and
athletes) from other teams, and communicate with your swimming friends.
There are already over a 1000 members as of now, and it’s growing and
growing each and every day. It is a website for swimmers, parents, and other coaches.
Video from the meet will be posted around Wednesday of next week (after the meet).

Warm-Up Time this weekend - The coaches have requested that all Swimmers
report to the pool 20 minutes before the start of each warm-up for all ages. Wahoo Team Store The Wahoo Team Store will not be open this Thursday, 10/18 but will be open Friday 10/26 during the Metro Team distribution. New Wahoo Web Site - The much awaited new Wahoo Web Site will be posted on Monday, 10/29. Sharon Gosha has spent many hours designing the new web site. She will also take over the position of Web Master. We would like to have all Web Page postings to Sharon each day by Noon so she has to only update the web once a day. Please help me express our sincere thanks to Sharon for taking on this huge task. I am sure you will all love the new web site.
